Martina Navratilova throws a hit at Novak Djokovic

In recent years, Novak Djokovic has worked hard both on and off the court. After coming so near to a “Calendar Grand Slam” in 2021, Serbia’s prodigy lost in the final game.

Former world No. 1 Daniil Medvedev defeated him in the final of the US Open after he had won the first three grand slams of the year. The 35-year-old Belgrade man had a bad start to the year in 2022 because of his decision not to get vaccinated against the Coronavirus.

Aside from the fact that Nole could not defend his Australian Open title, he also had to miss the Masters 1000 tournaments in the United States (Indian Wells/Miami). At Roland Garros, the ‘Djoker’ failed to meet expectations, but quickly made amends at Wimbledon.

Novak managed to win his eighth Church Road title despite dropping many sets. As a result, he now has 21 Grand Slam titles under his belt, one less than his archrival Rafael Nadal.

Djokovic and Vasek Pospisil, a friend and colleague during the pandemic, formed the PTPA. A plan that sparked a lot of debate.

Navratilova has harsh words for Djokovic.

When it came to the PTPA, Novak Djokovic was the target of Martina Navratilova’s recent jab: “He is adamant that he acted correctly.

Although I don’t agree with Nole on this point, he is free to do so. Tennis, in my opinion, has suffered as a result of that initiative. Take some time off and focus on something that will benefit our sport, in my opinion “the WTA legend opined

Novak will be unable to compete in the U.S. Open if no last-minute alterations are made. “I would never travel to a country unless I had the proper documentation to do so. Otherwise, if I’m denied entry to the United States, it won’t be the end of the world for me. I still feel young, so I have many possibilities ahead of me.”
