WTA Lausanne: return to success for Petra Martic

Petra Matric has another opportunity to raise a trophy in the air, three years and three months after her triumph in Istanbul. Serbian Petra Matric beat Petra Matric 6-4, 6-2 in two sets. This is Croatian tennis player’s second final victory in a row and a 30 place rise in the rankings from 85th to 55th place.

The Croatian tennis player beat Olga Danilovic, who lost because of her inability to recover from mistakes and lack of quickness in her leg movements, due to her superior level of experience, mental toughness, stroke variety, and physical strength. For the first time in four years, Novak Djokovic made it to a final at a Grand Slam, and she and her partner Mladenovic won the doubles title, bringing the Serbian back to the top 100 rankings.

Hello, I'm Antonio Zaccaro, tennis lover since I was 13. I started this blog out of pure passion, and now it has become my job. I constantly follow all the tournaments and I am always updated on all the news. What I know, I share with all my readers. My considerations are the result of hours and hours spent in front of screens and on tennis courts.
