According to an expert, ‘Banning Novak Djokovic…’

Ulises Badio, the physiotherapist who joined Novak Djokovic’s team in 2017 and recalled his journey to the ATP Tour, spoke about friendship and what it means to be a part of Djokovic’s team. It was an eye-opening experience to hear about what it’s like to work with a 35-year-old world champion.

This is because I started working for the ATP in 2011, so we’d run into each other every now and then. Since I was a child, my dream as a physiotherapist has been to work with patient number one.

Finally, in 2017, Novak approached me and asked if I wanted to join his team and begin treating him. Since then, Badio and Djokovic have always gone to Roland Garros together. “The responsibility that exists on a tennis player like Djokovic is 200 percent,” says Badio, despite their friendship.

This kind of treatment can lead to serious injury to an athlete at such a high level. For me, having a lot of experience in my field of work and being open to a more alternative philosophy was extremely important.

We’re with him all the time. Having just four hours with him during his training and seeing him before the game isn’t enough time to get to know him. It doesn’t matter if he’s in the stands or not, I keep an eye on him at all times to make sure everything is alright, or if someone has been on the phone for an extended period of time: any little detail can affect him during the match.”

Djokovic is taking a well-deserved break.

Ex-US National Intelligence Director Richard Grenell is the latest to speak out, urging the government to allow “one of the best players in the world” to compete in the US Open.

Let the @usopen host Novak Djokovic! Grenell tweeted, “The US Open cheapens itself by banning one of the best players in the world.” There are no vaccines that can prevent infection and transmission, according to Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, who echoed Grenell’s sentiments.

“@RichardGrenell is absolutely correct in his assessment of the situation. Has anyone else noticed that vaccinations don’t seem to be working as intended to keep people healthy? Irrelevant and harmful mandates are the order of the day. There were how many jabs Fauci took? Djokovic’s exclusion from the tournament would be equally stupid,” Johnson said.
