Djokovic builds the perfect player: There is Federer and Nadal
Novak Djokovic won Wimbledon in 2022. Defeating Nick Kyrgios in the final, Le Serb claimed his sixth title on the courts of London (like Pete Sampras). He now holds 21 Grand Slam championships, surpassing both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, who have 22 championships between them.
Prior to his match with Von Rijthoven in the fourth round, Djokovic was able to join in the festivities commemorating the 100th anniversary of Court central. He was asked at a press conference to imagine his perfect tennis player and to choose from among legendary players from the game’s past.
It was Novak Djokovic who created the perfect tennis player.
As Novak put it: “Fantastic as a day could be, that is what it was. It is a privilege to take part in the celebration, and we should certainly observe these milestone anniversaries.
Is this guy the ideal teammate? The service is the first step. Those who are taller than 2.1 meters are favored to win. After much deliberation, I went with Ivo Karlovic, John Isner, and Reilly Opelka. Since they operate on the fifth floor, countermeasures are nearly impossible to implement.
While Nick Kyrgios is not as physically imposing as either John Isner or pelka, he still provides excellent service. Second-serve MVP: Pete Sampras. These modern tennis players can really put the strain on you.
I think Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer have the right shot. They may have distinct legal protections, but this shot is a powerful tool nonetheless. After much deliberation, I went with Andy Murray’s and Jannik Sinner’s reversals. The names of Murray and Andre Agassi are always the first ones out of my mouth.
Actually, Sinner gives a really good response, too. For the cause, we need Bjorn Borg. Although I have never faced him in a game, I have seen numerous videos of him and heard great things from prior players.
Even in this respect, Roger stands out from the crowd. Among the filet us top players, Patrick Rafter and Stefan Edberg stood out as the most notable duo. Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal need to be brought up in my mind.” It is worth noting that Novak Djokovic might not meet the Covid19 requirements for entry into the 2022 US Open.
