Araújo closes a full day for Portuguese tennis in Idanha

Twenty-year-old Lisbon native Pedro Arajo, currently ranked 582nd in the ATP rankings, and the sixth seed in the second ITF M25 of Idanha-a-Nova, advanced to the round of 16 on Tuesday. He will be joined in the next round by Duarte Vale, Francisco Rocha, Hugo Maia, and Miguel Gomes, all of whom advanced in the morning.

Tiago Silva, 17, a compatriot and unranked opponent, lost in the first round of the ITF tournament last week, but a tennis player from the Jaime Caldeira Tennis School defeated him in straight sets, 6-3 and 6-1, in just over an hour.

Keep in mind that seven more Portuguese (Tiago Torres, Jaime Faria, Guilherme Severin, Vasco Prata, Martim Simes, Gonçalo Falco, and Fábio Coelho) will be competing in the first round of singles on Wednesday.

Hello, I'm Antonio Zaccaro, tennis lover since I was 13. I started this blog out of pure passion, and now it has become my job. I constantly follow all the tournaments and I am always updated on all the news. What I know, I share with all my readers. My considerations are the result of hours and hours spent in front of screens and on tennis courts.
