Nuno Borges eliminated in the first round in Pozoblanco

On Monday night local time in Spain, Nuno Borges, the second-ranked player in his country and the first seed in the Challenger de Pozoblanco, was knocked out of the tournament in the first round.

The 25-year-old from May, who is only 50 points away from making his debut in the top 100, lost to the 203rd-ranked Swiss Antoine Bellier, who has been in great form recently, 6-4 and 6-3. The match was decided with a break in each set and concluded in just 70 minutes, despite the fact that the night was already long due to the massive delay in the tournament schedule.

During the next two weeks, Borges will host two more Challengers, both of which will take place on fast floor in the Spanish city of Segovia and the Czech city of Liberec.

Hello, I'm Antonio Zaccaro, tennis lover since I was 13. I started this blog out of pure passion, and now it has become my job. I constantly follow all the tournaments and I am always updated on all the news. What I know, I share with all my readers. My considerations are the result of hours and hours spent in front of screens and on tennis courts.
