Frederico Silva misses ‘semi-finals’ in Tampere after losing against Cerundolo

The Challenger of Tampere in Finland ended in the quarterfinals for Frederico Silva. The 257th-ranked Caldas native lost in the quarterfinals to the 110th-ranked Juan Manuel Cerundolo due to the latter’s consistency.

Frederico Silva lost 6-1, 6-2 in 1 hour and ten minutes in a match in which he had only two break points, both of which came after he was already trailing 5-1 in the first set. He was powerless to exploit them, and Cerundolo’s natural ease in battle helped him seal the deal.

The Portuguese player will soon depart for Italy, where he will participate in the Challenger of San Benedetto del Tronto as a seeded player.

Hello, I'm Antonio Zaccaro, tennis lover since I was 13. I started this blog out of pure passion, and now it has become my job. I constantly follow all the tournaments and I am always updated on all the news. What I know, I share with all my readers. My considerations are the result of hours and hours spent in front of screens and on tennis courts.
