Some American fans hope to see Novak Djokovic at the 2022 US Open.
The future of Novak Djokovic, who recently defeated Nick Kyrgios to win his twenty-first Grand Slam singles title, is in serious jeopardy. Although Nole won at Wimbledon, he will most likely be sidelined for the rest of the season due to his injury.
To be more specific, entry to both Canada and the United States is restricted to those who have been vaccinated, meaning that Novak Djokovic may be unable to compete if he does not get a vaccination. After winning Wimbledon Nole is likely to miss the US Open, after he also missed the Australian Open this year.
With the vaccination test being required, it appears that all doors are currently closed to the Wimbledon champion competing in the US Open. Joe Biden has made it clear that anyone who has not been vaccinated cannot enter the United States.
Biden is also accused of allowing numerous immigrants to enter the country without proper documentation regarding the Coronavirus.
Many Americans hope to see Novak Djokovic in 2022 at the US Open.
Several of Biden’s protesters have cited the example of Serbian tennis champion Novak Djokovic.
U.S. Senator from Texas Drew Springer made a sarcastic tweet about the current administration. His message is as follows. “But while Biden won’t let Novak Djokovic play in the US Open, he’ll let millions of unvaccinated immigrants into the country.
Why not let another vaccinated person in, Joe?” There are more senators than just Springer who support Novak Djokovic. The Republican Senator from Kentucky, Rand Paul, also took to social media to show his support for Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic, writing, “Long live the heroic position for the freedom of Novak Djokovic.”
Though the United States has made efforts to reduce its monopoly on Covid in recent days, the No-Vax option continues to enjoy widespread support. More information on the situation, including whether or not Djokovic will be able to play in New York, is expected to become public in the coming days.
