Ashleigh Barty becomes wed and marries her longtime boyfriend.

Ashleigh Barty, a former three-time Grand Slam champion, and her longtime partner Garry Kissick got married. The Daily Mail claims that Barty and Kissick wed privately earlier this month.

Barty and Kissick first met at Brooklands Golf Club in 2016, where Kissick now works.

Since Kissick’s engagement to Barty in the latter half of 2021, the two have been dating. He didn’t really know much about tennis when Barty initially met her husband. Kissick nevertheless made an effort to comprehend how tennis and the WTA Tour functioned.

When we first met, he didn’t know anything about tennis, but he has been quite patient with me, Barty told Vogue. He has essentially been dropped into the deep end in terms of realizing what the tour is like and how far apart we are.

He is, however, the perfect person to be around if you want to take your mind off of tennis and enjoy yourself. This is a journey I definitely don’t want to take with anyone else.

Barty and her spouse are avid golfers.

Barty unexpectedly announced his retirement from tennis at the end of March.

Barty is renowned for being a huge sports lover because she loves cricket, golf, and Australian football. Barty was recently questioned by Sky Sports on the possibility of her pursuing a professional golf career.

Barty told Sky Sports, “You never have that answer.” “I enjoy the sport; it has long been a pastime of mine. However, I don’t know if I will ever be fully devoted to getting out to the range and completing the necessary practice and discipline, even if I love the sport.”

Barty began this season with an 11-0 record and back-to-back victories at the Australian Open and Adelaide International. Barty startled the tennis community by quitting the sport at the age of 25, while still in first place, two months later.
