Nuno Borges starts winning in Liberec and is two wins away from the top 100

Nuno Borges, the second-ranked player in his country and now ranked 106.o in the ATP, is going into this Monday’s Challenger of Liberec with high expectations. He hopes to make his debut in the top 100 players in the world. The first step… is offered because the Mayan requires a semifinal to ensure this symbolic entrance into the top 100.

Borges defeated Timofey Skatov of Kazakhstan in the first round by scores of 6-1 and 6-3 in just 74 minutes, setting up a second-round matchup with the victor of the match between youthful Hungarian Fabian Marozsan (ranked 251st on the ATP) and Czech wild card Michael Vrbensky (ranked 398th).

Hello, I'm Antonio Zaccaro, tennis lover since I was 13. I started this blog out of pure passion, and now it has become my job. I constantly follow all the tournaments and I am always updated on all the news. What I know, I share with all my readers. My considerations are the result of hours and hours spent in front of screens and on tennis courts.
