Nick Kyrgios’s thoughts on winning the doubles title in Atlanta

Jason Kubler and John Peers lost to Kyrgios and Kokkinakis in the Atlanta doubles final 7-6 (4) 7-5. Kyrgios, 27, is currently the singles and doubles champion in Atlanta. After defeating John Isner in the championship match, Kyrgios took home the Atlanta singles crown in 2016.

“Clearly, Atlanta is a unique location. here [in 2016] and now the doubles after winning the singles title. Amazing crowd and playing two matches in one day for a title were unique experiences, “According to Kyrgios and the ATP website.

Although there were no singles matches this week, Kokky and I were surprisingly resilient. However, our doubles confidence is at an all-time high.

In 2022, Kyrgios and Kokkinakis win their second team championship.

After winning the Australian Open doubles championship at the beginning of the season, Kyrgios and Kokkinakis earned the status of Grand Slam champions.

Off the court, Kokkinakis and Kyrgios are great friends, and Kokkinakis is pleased to be sharing championship victories with his good friend.”

I’m thrilled that Nick and I won the doubles title in Atlanta. Playing with him is a delight every time.

We’ve won two championships this year, and I believe we’re improving. This week has been fantastic; maybe we can keep it up. It’s been a nice way to kick off the [American] summer in Atlanta for the US Open.” Due to a knee problem, Kyrgios withdrew from the Atlanta singles tournament where he was also slated to compete.
