At the 2022 Laver Cup, Nick Kyrgios won’t face Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
Nick Kyrgios has declared that he won’t be taking part in the Laver Cup this year. For the first time, Kyrgios, 27, will be absent from the Laver Cup. Kyrgios was one of the players in the first Laver Cup in 2017, which served as the competition’s official debut.
After participating in the Laver Cup for the last four years, Kyrgios has made the decision to forego this year’s competition in order to spend more time with his family and fiancée in Australia after the US Open. The epidemic prevented the Laver Cup from being played in 2020.

After winning it all in Atlanta, Kyrgios will play in Washington.
Due to a knee injury, Kyrgios made the decision to withdraw from the Atlanta singles event last week.
The Atlanta doubles title was won by Kyrgios and his close friend Thanasi Kokkinakis when they defeated Jason Kubler and John Peers in the championship match. Kyrgios did not, however, give up on the doubles competition. Kyrgios won the Atlanta singles title in 2016.
