Nick Kyrgios begins by expressing his desire to assist children who may be insecure or lacking in confidence.

Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios stated that he made the decision to be candid about some of his past difficulties in order to demonstrate to others who may be experiencing such issues that getting beyond obstacles is undoubtedly doable.

Kyrgios was overweight as a child, which made him feel uneasy and underconfident. Kyrgios said earlier in the year that he has depression. Kyrgios has been playing his best tennis ever this season and is feeling better than ever.

Kyrgios shared a picture of himself from his early years, when he was obese, on Instagram after making it to the Wimbledon final.

Kyrgios: I understand what it’s like to experience certain things.

“I feel like a lot more athletes and people in general are talking about it now, which is fantastic, but honestly, when I was going through it all, I really didn’t have that one person who was sort of guiding me through those things, and it was just kind of spiraling out of control.

Therefore, I am aware of the significance when I observe a young person lacking in self-confidence, feeling humiliated or nervous about participating in a sport because he may be overweight or anything similar. I feel like I can help a lot of people because I understand how they feel, but it has to start with them.

During his post-match press conference at the Citi Open, Kyrgios said, “They have to desire to be better,” according to Sportskeeda. Being content off the court appears to be the major factor in Kyrgios‘ success in 2022, which he is now having a fantastic season.

Kyrgios‘ girlfriend Costeen Hatzi has been by his side at competitions the entire season. Kyrgios enjoys traveling with his girlfriend on the Tour, and it appears to be very successful for him.
