Nick Kyrgios has urged supporters to be grateful for even having Novak Djokovic nearby. Djokovic, 35, is still in excellent health and has said again recently that he has not yet considered retiring. Federer, who is regarded as tennis’ greatest symbol, decided to call it quits after the 2022 Laver Cup.

Federer‘s absence leaves Djokovic and Rafael Nadal as the only Big Three Group players still competing. “Having him around is crucial, in my opinion. Roger [Federer], undoubtedly one of the greatest players ever, passed away last year, and I don’t believe we fully appreciated how special these athletes are to our sport.

Because he’s one of the most crucial [players] for our sport, I always want to defeat Novak anytime he’s there in one of these tournaments, even if I can’t do it in a Grand Slam, Kyrgios said, according sportskeeda.

At Rod Laver Arena on Friday, Kyrgios overcame Djokovic in an exhibition match. Following the match, Kyrgios praised Djokovic and implored the Melbourne crowd to treat him with respect when he plays in the Australian Open.

Some Australians made it known that they wanted Djokovic deported a year ago. Now that Djokovic has returned to Australia, he can participate in the Australian Open. “I would just state that Novak is present and has not established any rules.

He only cares about putting up a show. He pursues goals that athletes hardly ever get to pursue. Not just on the tennis court, he is among the best athletes of all time. He’s in Melbourne to do a show.

Kokkinakis considers Kyrgios

After losing to Bautista Agut in the semi-final, Nick Kyrgios‘ best friend wanted to chat about his mate during the press conference.

Thanasi Kokkinakis asserts that although Nick is not perfect, he makes every effort to resolve issues. “I believe that certain of Nick Kyrgios‘ actions that the public views negatively are highlighted a little more than others since he may be known for them.

Some of his actions garner media attention because he is involved, although this would not be the case if it were another player. But Nick is not a perfect person. He made decisions that were likely warranted. Some of these things, in my opinion, are unfair.

He does his best at the end of the day. He is under a lot of strain. He believes he is doing his best to succeed. He sometimes tolerates it. Everybody handles stress differently. He had a fantastic year the previous year. He’ll keep giving everything he’s got.
