In response to attacks directed at her by Dmitry Tursunov, her former coach, Emma Raducanu has made a statement. Tursunov reportedly made the decision to cut ways with Raducanu and begin working with a different player in October, who later turned out to be Belinda Bencic, according to British media.
Tursunov claimed in one of his interviews that Raducanu raised “some red flags,” adding that the 20-year-old needed to hear “only one voice.” After parting ways with Raducanu, Tursunov stated, “We didn’t agree on the terms [with his camp] and there were several red lights that just couldn’t be ignored.”
“I believe that because of the way I was raised, I have always been surrounded by many people. And I’ve always made the decision about what I wanted to take and leave. It doesn’t seem out of the usual to me. Tursunov is free to express his opinions, “According to The Telegraph, Raducanu spoke to the BBC.
Raducanu deliberated for a while before deciding to work with Sebastian Sachs. Initially, Raducanu and Sachs were both on trial. By the end of the preseason, though, Raducanu discovered she was content with Sachs’ contributions.
In terms of his team and her coaching staff, Raducanu believes she is now more established. “I believe a contributing factor is that I lacked that core and that small crew. I lacked a reliable team or a solid organizational structure.
I feel that I’ve accomplished something this year, so I probably don’t need to consult as much anymore “Rădăcanu elucidated. Raducanu would undoubtedly adore to stay with Sachs for a lengthier amount of time after numerous deals. It will be interesting to see if Sachs can help Raducanu step up his game and achieve great things.
Emma Raducanu was eliminated from the Melbourne Park Major, and seven-time Grand Slam champion Justine Henin recently commented on the situation. “Emma cannot be expected to compete in every competition at the level she did when she won the US Open.
We are discussing the nature of her game while she is still evolving. She needs to be more organized, thus she must practice and train “explained Henin. “The match was tense, but Gauff displayed her expertise despite it.
Emma simply lacked sufficient resources to advance to the final set. Gauff handled the crucial issues more skillfully because he had greater expertise. Both are still extremely young and must continue to grow and develop. They’ll play a lot of games together, I have no doubt “said Henin.
