It is now anticipated that Emma Raducanu will play again on March 7 when she pairs up with Cameron Norrie for mixed doubles at the Eisenhower Cup. The 20-year-old Raducanu was slated to compete at the WTA 250 tournament this week in Austin.

Raducanu will not be competing in her first competition since the Australian Open in Austin because she was diagnosed with tonsillitis. “I’m sad I’ll be missing the ATX Open. I now have tonsillitis, which prevents me from competing this week.

We appreciate the tournament’s wonderful hospitality in Austin “Declared Raducanu in a statement.

In Indian Wells, Raducanu will pick up where he left off.

The 2023 Eisenhower Cup final will be held at Indian Wells on March 7.

The top-ranked British male tennis player Norrie will pair up with Raducanu, who is currently the face of British women’s tennis, for the mixed doubles competition at this year’s Eisenhower Cup.

The mixed doubles teams competing for the Eisenhower Cup are the following Aryna Sabalenka/Taylor Fritz, Maria Sakkari/Stefanos Tsitsipas, Jessica Pegula/Tommy Paul, Leylah Fernandez/Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Iga Swiatek/Hubert Hurkacz.

Tennis fans will be treated to the brightest stars of both tours pairing up for a fun and unique mixed doubles event, and we extend our sincere gratitude to all players for their participation in supporting this great cause, “We are thrilled that The Eisenhower Cup will return for a fourth time to serve as a meaningful charitable event to ring in two weeks of exciting action in Tennis Paradise “Tommy Haas, the director of the Indian Wells tournament, announced it in mid-February.

Raducanu will compete at a WTA 1000 event in Indian Wells after competing at the Eisenhower Cup. Raducanu received a main draw wildcard for the competition even though he missed the main draw cut at Indian Wells. This March, Raducanu will appear in Indian Wells for the third time.
