ATP Dubai: Novak Djokovic defeats Hubert Hurkacz to maintain his unblemished record

But in game nine, Novak served an ace to end the set 6-3 in 35 minutes. Hurkacz began the second set with a forehand winner that held at love, and Djokovic continued the momentum with a service winner in game two.

In the subsequent games, neither player was able to gain an advantage over the other, as both players dominated their service games. In game six, Novak held at 15 to tie the match at 3-3, and a few minutes later, Hubert took the lead once more with a strong serve. In game eleven, Djokovic held at 30 to tie the score at 5-5 and put Hurkacz under additional pressure.

The Pole encountered break points and had trouble converting free points on his serve. He successfully protected the first four points, but Novak won the fifth to take a 6-5 lead and serve for the match. In game 12, Djokovic held at love to secure the victory and advance to the semifinals.
